Covey wrote the best-selling book, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” Four of those habits are particularly relevant today.
Sharpen the Saw refers to the old Abraham Lincoln quote "If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend six sharpening my axe" — This is a great time to learn and improve.

Put First Things First - To help people prioritize, Covey introduced his four-box quadrant, where he encouraged readers to prioritize their day across two dimensions: importance and urgency. Covey described that all of us start with the critical and urgent tasks, after which, most people choose to prioritize the urgent but unimportant tasks.
Covey illustrates how the most successful people show a different pattern. They move from the critical and essential to the critical functions which are not time sensitive. In other words, most successful business owners will turn their attention to value building.
